Daily (sample) Schedule
Each day in our 200-hour yoga teacher training may look a little different. We aim to find a balance between structured learning and experiential learning. Throughout each day, there will be breaks and a varied schedule to help participants integrate the content. Every Monday you’ll have a half day off after your morning meditation and asana practices and a short morning lecture so that you can enjoy the natural environment and explore all that San Juan Del Sur has to offer. You’ll experience the power of living yoga on and off your mat.
6:30 am Optional Kriya Sadhana: Begin the day in stillness and sacred practice. Each morning before training, students are invited to join in an optional Kriya Sadhana—an immersive evolutionary practice from the Himalayan lineage. Through breath, mantra, mudra, and silence, this sadhana awakens inner energy, deepens focus, and prepares body, mind, and spirit for the day’s teachings.
7 am Optional Flight Club : For those who love to play and push the edges of practice, Flight Club is a lighthearted, energizing morning session focused on arm balances and inversions. Together we’ll explore the foundations of lift-off—strength, alignment, and trust—while breaking down challenging postures in a supportive space. Expect laughter, sweat, and the joy of discovering new possibilities on your mat.
7:30 am Meditation: Rooted in the Himalayan tradition, Sattva Meditation is a profound practice that blends breathwork, kriya, mantra, and stillness to awaken higher states of awareness. This technique clears the mind, balances energy, and deepens connection to the Self—offering a direct experience of clarity, peace, and inner expansion.
8 am Asana Practice: A dynamic, intelligently sequenced class designed to strengthen the body, focus the mind, and awaken energy. In just one hour, this practice moves through grounding postures, fluid vinyasa, and intentional breathwork—leaving you both energized and centered for the day ahead.
9 am Breakfast: Nourishment begins each morning with a vibrant, garden-to-table breakfast. Fresh tropical fruits, locally grown vegetables, and wholesome plant-based creations are prepared with care to fuel body and mind for the day’s practice. Rooted in Eden’s principles of sustainability and wellness, each meal is both abundant and intentional—healthy, fulfilling, and always a delicious surprise.
10:30 am Morning Lecture: Each day begins with an inspiring lecture that bridges ancient wisdom with modern practice. These sessions dive into yoga philosophy, energetic anatomy, and the art of teaching, offering tools that expand both personal practice and professional skill. Rooted in tradition yet practical for today, the lectures set the tone for deep learning and meaningful integration throughout the day.
1 pm Lunch + Free Time: Recharge and savor the midday pause. Enjoy an optional lunch at Eden, take a refreshing dip in the pool, stroll to the nearby beach and catch some waves, or simply rest and soak in the surroundings. This unhurried break gives space to nourish the body, reset the mind, and prepare for the afternoon sessions with renewed energy.
3 pm Afternoon Lecture or Practice Teaching Session: Afternoons are dedicated to deepening understanding and hands-on learning. Engage in thought-provoking lectures that explore philosophy, anatomy, and advanced techniques, or step into the role of teacher in guided practice teaching sessions. These experiences cultivate confidence, sharpen skills, and bridge knowledge with real-world application—preparing each participant to embody and share the teachings with clarity and presence.
5 pm Evening Practice: Unwind and restore with a gentle evening session designed to balance the day’s energy. Our evening classes with usually be Yin or Yoga Nidra. These practices support recovery, integration, and a sense of calm—preparing body and mind for restful sleep and reflection.
6:30 pm Dinner: Each evening, enjoy a thoughtfully prepared 3-course vegetarian dinner, inspired by flavors from around the world. Mealtime is a chance to connect with fellow trainees, share stories, and savor nourishing food that delights the senses. Every dish is crafted to balance taste, wellness, and community, making dinner a highlight of the day’s journey.
7:30 pm Evening Ceremony or Practice: As the day winds down, gather for evening ceremonies designed to honor intention, reflection, and connection. These sacred gatherings may include guided meditations, book discussions, mantra chanting, ritual practices, or collective reflections, offering space to integrate the day’s experiences and deepen awareness. Participants can expect a calm, supportive environment that nurtures inner stillness, spiritual exploration, and a sense of community.

CATHERINE WETENKAMP - Founder of Kintsugi Yoga and Seek Yoga Collective, Lead Facilitator
Cat is not just a teacher—she is a living transmission of the yogic path. A lineage-rooted educator, storyteller, and visionary guide, Cat is the founder of Kintsugi Yoga School and Seek Yoga Collective—a groundbreaking app designed to support yoga teachers in embodied leadership and ongoing evolution. With over 5,000 hours of teaching experience and 1,200+ hours of advanced training, Cat has led dozens of 200- and 300-hour yoga teacher trainings across the globe. Her work synthesizes power vinyasa, kriya, mantra, mudra, meditation, and Tantric philosophy—offering a rare depth of practice that initiates students into their own power as ritualists, leaders, and wise teachers. In January 2026, Cat will deepen her devotion through advanced initiatory study at Sattva Yoga Academy with Anand Mehrotra in Rishikesh, India, entering both the Master Teacher Training and the Dasha Mahavidya Initiator Training. This sacred path places her among a select group of Western teachers entrusted to share the divine feminine teachings of the Mahavidyas within an unbroken Himalayan Tantric lineage. Her work is not merely instructional—it is devotional, radical, and liberatory. Cat’s teachings have touched thousands—from sold-out crowds at Yoga on the Rocks (3x featured teacher) to elite athletes like the Denver Broncos, whom she supports in mindfulness, recovery, and resilience. Across retreats, teacher trainings, and transformational spaces, she brings yoga into both peak performance and the quiet grit of everyday life. A devoted student of goddess mythology, non-dual Tantra, and the inner technology of awakening, Cat teaches with heart and clarity. Her classes are not simply sequences—they are portals, alive with breath, story, sweat, and silence. Through her work, students don’t just learn yoga—they become it.
